At 8.20 on a drizzly Saturday morning five intrepid Swaledale Runners set off from the Pen-y-Ghent café in Horton-in-Ribblesdale to run the Yorkshire Three Peaks, 'just for fun'.
The 2011 Burn Valley Half Marathon was held on Sunday 3rd July and as is usual for this event the sun shone brightly. First home for Swaledale was Tony Lambert in a very creditable 4th place. Photos by Pete Richardson.
