Swaledale Road Runners

We have recently been contacted by Rob Hall from Yaxley Runners and Joggers in Cambridgeshire, a club which like us is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Some of their members are keen to try fell running and Pete suggested the James Herriot Trail Run on July 31st. They will be invited to join us for our club picnic after the run.

In return they have suggested some races in their area which might be of interest to us:

(1) The Fenland 10 mile race near Wisbech, at the end of October (a flat course with PB potential)

(2) The Hereward Relay in November: a four-leg team race starting at Peterborogh Cathedral and finishing in Ely, total distance 38 miles.
