Swaledale Road Runners

There has been an enthusiastic reponse to the idea of celebrating the club's 25th anniversary and a wealth of ideas have been put forward. There are so many suggestions that we obviously cannot do them all. If you would like to be involved in organising your own event or one of the events below, please contact Jackie.

Possible events:

• Buffet and dance (provisional date Friday 30th September at Richmond Cricket club, past and present members welcome with partners)
• Coast to coast relay
• Club picnic at the James Herriot run on July 31st
• A wine-tasting 10K!
• Camping barn trip in Swaledale or further afield
• Host your favourite run (give a time, place, distance and brief route description, provide drinks and nibbles at the end)
• Festival of running
• Richmond !0K: optional  fancy dress from 25 years ago
• Quiz night with a Swaledale theme
• Group runs with Richmond and Zetland Harriers
• Cleveland Way relay
• Barbecue for past and present members
• Run from Sutton Bank to Osmotherley
• 'Guess who' competition, with photos of members from 25 years ago
• Support for Ros in her '3 marathons in 3 days' challenge
