Swaledale Road Runners

A huge thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our final run of freedom. We really weren't expecting the behind the scenes plotting! Thanks especially to John and Marian, Sara, Ros and Neil, Sara and Geoff for presents, outfits and pizza ordering, and to Steve and Derek for making sure Gary and I put 110% into the race, despite the feather boas! Unfortunately, despite my 1 minute headstart, Gary pipped me to the post round the Easby loop. Still, as we both got round in just over 14 minutes, the speed work has obviously been paying off! I'm sure there will be some photos on the way. We had a wonderful night and you all made us feel tired, a bit silly and above all, very special. Thanks again. See galleries for photos.
