Return to Bowes Moor
Thank you to the nine intrepid runners who drove to Bowes in the thick fog that Saturday morrning. I really did wonder how difficult it was going to prove navigating our way around the moor. Not to worry though, the patchy fog disappeared to reveal blue skies and warm sunshine greeted us. We were treated to wonderful clear views of the reservoirs in Baldersdale. The nine mile route was not quite as boggy as I had anticipated either. Not only a favourite run for me but for Claire Stewart and Oonagh Bathgate too. Hopefully the newcomers to Bowes will be back to explore this wonderful moorland.
