Swaledale Road Runners

Swaledale Road Runners enjoyed unprecedented success at the Black Sheep Brewery series this year, with no fewer than seven club members winning awards. Erika Johnson, a regular at the series, took the trophy for 1st lady overall, while Amy Cassar was 1st lady under 35 and Tony Lambert 1st man over 35. Ronnie Cassar was 2nd man over 65, just 2 seconds behind the leader of the category, in the closest ever contest in the history of the series. Marian Hunter had an excellent season to finish as 2nd lady over 55 with Julia Spittle 3rd over 55, while Martin Randall was 3rd male over 40. Stuart Clarkson, John Hunter and Pete Devlin also won awards for completing the series.
