Swaledale Road Runners

There was a great turnout of Swaledale Road Runners at the Wetherby 10K on Sunday 12th September. Tony Lambert was 11th overall in a field of over 600 runners and picked up an age group prize as 2nd over 40. Martin Randall had another great run to finish in 50.51, followed by  Erika Johnson who was 1st lady over 40 in 42.23.

Martin Luxton was next home in 43.25, with Simon Barlow hot on his heels in 43.33. Amy Cassar, who has been improving steadily all season, produced a PB of 45.02, with Ronnie Cassar next home in 46.44. Stuart Clarkson finished strongly in 46.55, with Liz Sowter following in 48.31. John Hunter ran a season's best of 51.30, with Pauline Bennison and Marian Hunter also producing good times, finishing in 55.35 and 57.54 respectively.
